Hi, here's my life in a short version:
- Born in Bonn-Bad-Godesberg on 4/16/75
- Brought up in Meckenheim, Abitur in 94
- Civil Service at a school for mentally handicapped children in 95
- 95-98 studied physics in Tübingen
- 98-01 studied Medical Informatics
in Heidelberg/ Heilbronn
- 96-99 Scholarship from "Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes"
- 98-2001 work on transcranial magnetstimulation at the
psychiatric hospital
of university Ulm
- 99-2002 freelancer for Daimler-Chrysler research centre Ulm
- 2001 participated in the IPHIE masterclass for health informatics
- 2002 masters thesis at the Surgical Planninf Laboratory, Brigham Womens Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston
- since 2003 PhD student at Surgical Robotics Laboratory, Clinic for Maxillofacial Surgery - Clinical Navigation and Robotics, Berlin
- married to Gila since 2005
- Interests: Drumming, Jazz
In november 2006, the system that is the basis of my PhD thesis was used in the clinic for the first time. With this new system,
a bone piece can be taken from the iliac crest to reconstruct a defect in the mandible.
